Sonia Delaunay was an artist who, a century ago, blurred the boundaries between art, fashion, design, and everyday life. She became the first woman to have a solo exhibition at the Louvre during her lifetime. And she was born in Odesa.
For over a year, the Museum of Modern Art of Odesa has been researching her work and legacy. Now, original works by Delaunay—alongside pieces by contemporary Odesa artists inspired by her—are on display in Lviv at the exhibition “Sonia Delaunay: A Simultaneous World.”
The exhibition was organized with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation as part of the “Flagship Events” program.
