“Vidpust” is the final exhibition of an artistic residency for 14 Ukrainian artists, held in Zhovkva from July 1–10, 2026.
The project created a safe space for creativity, emotional recovery, overcoming burnout, and exchanging experiences. Artists from different Ukrainian cities worked with painting, textiles, photography, video, and experimental techniques, drawing inspiration from Zhovkva’s atmosphere and their own inner experiences. The exhibition presents the artistic outcomes of the residency.
The “Vidpust” Residency of Dialogue and Recovery project is implemented by the NGO “Ecology. Culture. Art.” with the support of the British Council, in partnership with the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (UCF) and PM Gallery.
