«Proyav» (Manifestation) is a solo photo exhibition by Andrii Petruk, a serviceman of the 103rd Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, at the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Center.
Manifestation is a moment when a hidden state or feeling becomes visible. Andrii came to the military from art and theater, so he looks at war through the eyes of a photographer: he notices people, light, composition, silence, and tension. He does not romanticize reality or deny its horrors, but rather shows it as he sees it.
