«Shadows of Choice «ANGIARI» is an artistic project by Oleg Tistol. Through the motif of the shadow, the artist reflects on choice, presence, and memory. The shadows of soldiers become an image of dignity and hope that extends beyond the military context.
This is not a photographic portrait, but a real shadow captured as a kind of document of presence. The paintings were created through direct encounters with the soldiers, for whom meeting, conversation, and collaborative creation became part of the project.
