In a Blooming Garden is both the artist’s personal story and a reflection on her love of art and life. The garden becomes a metaphor for Nina Shupliak’s artistic world—a world carefully cultivated alongside everyday work, family life, and the profound historical and political changes that have shaped her lifetime.
The exhibition brings together works created from the 1950s to the present day, tracing the evolution of Nina Shupliak’s artistic language over more than seven decades. Paintings on glass, canvas, wood, and vinyl create a vibrant, immersive environment where the artist’s personal vision intertwines with the traditions of Ukrainian folk art.
