Interwar Lviv was a city of hope, discovery, and architectural experimentation. Modernism here was more than just a style: it embodied a new vision of the world after World War I. But by 1939, the city once again found itself in the midst of war and loss. People, communities, and identities vanished. But the buildings remained. They remember.

Myroslava Liakhovych’s exhibition has already been shown in Zurich, Kaunas, and Brno, and in 2025, it was on display in Lviv at the City Museum. But now we have the opportunity to see this project in our city once again, with several new objects added to the exhibition. Through photographs, blueprints, research texts, and 3D scans, the exhibition showcases the most notable examples of Lviv Modernism..
