“Blue Face” is a exhibition by Margo Rieznik, bringing together ten years of her artistic practice. The exhibition comprises three thematic sections: the otherness and alienation of the artist, engagement with abandoned places, and an exploration of her own body.
The series Blue Face, created during forced emigration and artistic residencies, reflects on the experience of being a stranger, observing others, and feeling like an outsider. Video works exploring exclusion zones transform abandoned spaces into sites of metaphysical journeys and a search for meaning.
The third section examines a complex relationship with the body — from alienation to acceptance. The exhibition becomes a journey in search of one’s own place between body and soul, self and others, the physical and the invisible.
