Justyna Senchyk — a Ukrainian artist and graduate of the Ivan Trush Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts and the Lviv National Academy of Arts — will present to the audience a series of woven works titled “Days of Creation,” in which tapestries serve not only as decorative objects but also as vessels of memory, myth, and inner landscape, forming a unique cosmos.
Thread by thread, space, light, movement, and meaning are woven together here. Justyna Senchyk’s works combine archaic symbolism with contemporary visual language. They do not illustrate a biblical narrative literally, but rather create the atmosphere of the moment when the world is just taking shape—between paradise and earth, between light and the abyss.
