The exhibitions tell the story of a forest that appears on no map—a forest standing on the boundary between the visible and invisible worlds. It is called the Iron Forest not because its trees are made of metal, but because it is hard, impenetrable, and as ancient as the memory of the earth itself.
Human rules do not apply in this forest. Here dwell forces that existed long before people learned to give things names. In the darkness between the trunks, creatures are born that know no fear of humans. Ancient magic grows here—wild and untamed, like the wind sweeping over cold mountains.
The Iron Forest is an image of a boundary—a boundary between culture and wild nature, between order and chaos, between what we can explain and what will forever remain a mystery. It is a place where the world seems older and vaster than humanity.
The paintings in this exhibition are not illustrations of a specific legend. They are an attempt to sense the space where myth is born—a space dense, dark, and alive, where every tree might be a witness to ancient stories, and every shadow the beginning of a new one.
