“Imprint” is an exhibition of student graphic art born from line, stroke, printmaking plates, and years of creative exploration.
Fifth-year students of the Graphic Design specialization present a series of original works created in monotype, drypoint, and other printmaking techniques. A significant part of the exhibition is inspired by the works of Ivan Franko, whose 170th birth anniversary is being commemorated this year.
The exhibition brings together several important anniversaries at once: 150 years of the Ivan Trush Lviv Professional College of Decorative and Applied Arts and 30 years of the Graphic Design specialization. It is especially gratifying that the students have become not only the authors of the artworks, but also the designers of the entire project — from the poster to the promotional materials.
