The Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv is one of the most distinguished national art and culture treasuries in Ukraine.. Its proud repository houses over 175, 000 objects that signify the major attainments of Ukrainianian culture as an integral part of the world’s spiritual and artistic treasury. Among the Museum’s highlights is the rich collection of Ukrainian ecclesiastical art from 12th – 18th cc. A priceless collection of icons from the 14th – 18th cc. (over 4 000 objects). The museums ‘V collection includes valuable canvases by many distinguished Ukrainian artists: Taras Shevchenko, Kornylo Ustyianovych, Teofil Kopystynsky, Mykola Murashko, Serhiy Vasylkivsky, Fotiy Krasytsky, Petro Levchenko, Kiriak Kostandi, Oleksandr Murashko, Mykola Ivasiuk, to name but a few.

The spacious exhibition rooms highlight the iconic collections pieces of Ukrainian art of the 12th – early 20th cc.  Illustrating the evolution of the national culture over a span of nine centuries. The exhibition of “Ukrainian art of the 20th century” is presented at the Historical Complex of the Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv located in 42, Drahomanova Street. The departments of the National Museum in Lviv include the following:  You are welcome to the Memorial Art Museums of Ivan Trush, Oleksa Novakivsky, Olena Kulchytska,  and Leopold Levytsky that were. Previously they were created dwellings and art studios of these famous Lviv painters.  Another department of the NML is situated in  the town of Chervonohrad, Lviv Region,  the Sokalshchyna Art Museum greets Oblast
