Art-project «The Beginning» by Denys Tymchyshyn demonstrates the young artist’s search for new textures, color solutions and stylistic devices in the field of modern icon painting. The author’s style is based on the Byzantine school, which is combined with modern interpretations of sacred motifs.
The works presented in the exhibition are a kind of fixation of the state of the artist’s soul at different stages of professional development. They are distinguished by high aesthetic qualities, extraordinary imagery and harmony of compositional solutions. The works are filled with light and strong energy, show the audience a high aesthetic culture and new facets of modern sacred art. Denys Tymchyshyn is a graduate of the Department of Sacral Art of the Lviv National Academy of Arts in 2020.
