“Manual Mode” is an exploration of photography as a process of attentive observation and conscious image creation. The project relies on the hand-processing of stainless steel and copper mirror surfaces that interact with light in unique ways. Color reflections emerge directly through the synergy of light, texture, and reflection without digital manipulation, while photography merely captures this momentary optical event.
The exhibition focuses less on material or technique and more on the act of seeing itself. Rather than offering ready-made images or definitive narratives, the artworks invite viewers into slow, mindful contemplation. Here, “manual mode” becomes more than a camera setting—it is a way of engaging with reality.
