Lviv Palace of Arts is a cultural and artistic center located at 17 Kopernyka Street, which began its work in 1996. As one of the largest exhibition spaces in Western Ukraine, the Lviv Palace of Arts has become an important art platform on the cultural map of Ukraine, which allows artists to demonstrate and promote their art work. In addition to art exhibitions, the Lviv Palace of Arts hosts forums, festivals, film screenings, fairs and business presentations. The Palace of Arts also has a conference hall with 200 seats, which is suitable for concerts, conferences, various cultural and artistic events. On March 7, 2004, a room-museum of Taras Shevchenko was opened in the Palace of Arts.
Lviv Palace of Arts also conducts international activities. Joint international events have been launched at the Palace, which are included in the city’s best cultural events. These are, in particular: the International Festival of European Cinema, the International Festival “Puppet World”, the International Exhibition “Autumn Salon”, the International Festival of Fluorescence “Lviv-Lumines” and many others.
