Lviv-based graphic artist Yuro Kam “W.A.R. 2.0” is a series of graphic plots after the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Artworks are the author’s graphics, the depicted images are symbolic in nature. For example, a mosquito represents an invader who robs other people’s property. Or the angry butterfly – the image of the partisan movement in the occupied territories. In this part of the project, the series was replenished with new stories, including the counterattack on Zaporizhzhia, the liberation of Kherson, the blackout period, the defense of Bakhmut, and others.
The project highlights current war events in Ukraine through allegorical images and symbols.
