It’s said that the bones of the dove of peace lie somewhere in Ukrainian soil, and its ghost still roams the offices of first-world countries. It is said that the Holy Spirit has not yet visited the land east of the contact line. Extinct or alive, these birds, both of them, are dinosaurs. The series of laboratory exhibitions “We will admire the original afterwards” is about contemporary artistic practices and paleontology, about contemporary ecological thought, the sixth mass extinction and the search for new narratives about life on the ruins.
The project will consist of three exhibition parts that will be opened gradually over 10 weeks. The program of the exhibition series will include curatorial tours, discussions, readings, and text discussions. The events will be announced on the pages of Dim42 in social networks.
